Cove Balcony, Deluxe Balcony, and Premium Deluxe Balcony staterooms each provide a private outdoor space, giving you your own spot to enjoy fresh sea air, morning coffee, or sunset views. Cove Balcony staterooms feel tucked closer to the water, while Deluxe and Premium Deluxe options offer progressively more space inside and out. It’s also handy if you realise you’ve forgotten something or want to pick up a souvenir while you’re on board.
Over on Deck 9, PrincessPhoto is where you can view and purchase the professional photographs taken during your cruise - from formal portraits to shots captured around the ship and in port. If you like having something to take home beyond what’s on your camera roll, it’s worth a look.
Entertainment
The entertainment on Star Princess centres around a few key venues, each offering something a little different depending on your mood.
Spanning Decks 7 and 8, the Princess Arena is the ship’s main theatre space. This is where you’ll find large-scale productions, live music and headline performances, all delivered with impressive staging and technology. It’s designed to be immersive without sacrificing the classic cruise theatre atmosphere.

Food on Star Princess is varied and well balanced, with a mix of elegant dining rooms, relaxed casual options and a strong line-up of speciality restaurants if you’re looking to try something different.
For complimentary dining, the main restaurants are the Aurora Dining Room on Deck 6 and the Celestial Dining Room on Deck 7. Both offer a traditional cruise dining experience with daily-changing multi-course menus. They’re ideal if you enjoy sitting down to a proper evening meal in comfortable surroundings.
For something more informal, The Eatery on Decks 8 and 9 serves as the ship’s buffet venue, offering a wide selection throughout the day. Alfredo’s Pizzeria on Deck 9 is a popular choice for freshly made pizza in a casual setting, while the Americana Diner delivers classic comfort food with a modern twist.
